Camera seems to take pictures but computer says there are no pictures in camera. On display before anything it shows PC, video mode, never shows # of picture being taken. Manual says nothing about that PC.

not clear, you have camera, so number of images should be listed on camera,without connecting to pc, once you connect to pc via usb, the program would then scan for images listing how many and then ask how to transfer, if you want to connect to computer with use of camera program , you can view camera disk as new port %26quot;drive E:\ %26quot; or other with list of files, also note that files with sd disk will be listed, not internal memory, to do so remove disk then connect,
