How do I draw something disturbingly scary?

I%26#039;m very keen to wonder how artists like HR Giger manage to create that distinctive disturbing image. What makes their works so disturbing? What kind of drawing style?
How do I draw something disturbingly scary?
Make your drawing more about the drawing looking at the viewer; not the reverse.

Hope that makes sense...

try dropping some acid first
Reply:just draw a man eating his own head!!!
Reply:just find the scariest things you can think of in your head and put them all together. Thats what i would do.
Reply:why the **** would you wanna do dat u weirdo
Reply:use a pencil
Reply:Just remember that the scariest thing isn%26#039;t what you see, it%26#039;s what you don%26#039;t see. Unless you are good with proportions and the elements of art, stick with a %26quot;dark and vague%26quot; concept, otherwise your drawings will look silly, not scary. A dark corridor, a shadowy figure in a mirror, or a hand reaching out from a dark space are all disturbingly scary images and are relatively easy to convey, even for a begining artist.

Some of the inmates often toss out drawn pictures that may attract creatures from the Dark Side
Reply:sharp lines, not so curved and detailed. jagged, rough lines and a sketchy look makes things look more frightening. also, avoid human faces, if it%26#039;s going to be human then use just a human outline and only eyes showing or teeth. and as for not being able to portray your image, it takes a lot of practice. Concentrate on what you want your picture to look like, every detail, make your hand listen.
