To answer your question directly, though, most implants are built of Teflon or another flexible material that in slid into a %26#039;pocket%26#039; cut under the skin. Some other piercers use metal, coral, bone or a biodegradable bone-scaffold to create the shape of the implant. They are roughly as prone to rejection as other surface piercings; if not performed with sterile equipment and properly healed they are also likely to become infected.
Reply:i saw something about it on 60 minutes .they do not use any form of pain killers when they do it..it is not my cup of tea,i would never do it ,but i reckon it looks bloody great,it would take a really out there sort of person to do it...
